In the BEcoming: The New Normal
There is no strategy that will allow us to avoid every uncomfortable moment of growth. Sometimes the strategy is not to figure everything out. Sometimes the strategy is to pause long enough to recognize that the discomfort may not mean something is wrong.
The Cost of BEcoming
The more you choose to believe God, believe in what HE placed inside of you, and take the next step toward BEcoming, the more natural those choices become.
Eventually, you begin to love what you see when you look back at yourself in the mirror—not because you have arrived, but because you recognize the woman looking back at you.
Becoming Requires Movement
I've learned that we rarely walk away from a season empty-handed when we've sought God through it. Sometimes the reward is healing. Sometimes it's wisdom. Sometimes it's greater compassion. Sometimes it's the opportunity to encourage someone else because we've already walked the road they're traveling.
BEcoming: If It Were Easy
Sometimes, the very moment we decide to do something different—to grow, to stretch, to evolve—it can feel like everything begins to fall apart.
But that isn’t coincidence. It’s resistance.
Real change disrupts what has been comfortable and challenges what has been familiar. And because of that, it rarely feels easy. In fact, its difficulty is often the very reason many people choose not to pursue it at all.
There are days when even I feel the weight of BEcoming—when continuing forward requires more than motivation. It requires intention.
And in those moments, I return to what grounds me.
Step Into It
BEcoming can be scary.
But my prayer for you today is that not becoming scares you even more.
I pray the thought that someone in this world is waiting for you to step fully into your God-given purpose stirs something inside of you.
Not guilt.
Not pressure.
Not performance.
But purpose.
Because someone is connected to your assignment.
Someone's breakthrough may be tied to your obedience.
Someone's hope may be waiting for your "yes."
