Sometimes, the very moment we decide to do something different—to grow, to stretch, to evolve—it can feel like everything begins to fall apart.

But that isn’t coincidence. It’s resistance.

Real change disrupts what has been comfortable and challenges what has been familiar. And because of that, it rarely feels easy. In fact, its difficulty is often the very reason many people choose not to pursue it at all.

There are days when even I feel the weight of BEcoming—when continuing forward requires more than motivation. It requires intention.

And in those moments, I return to what grounds me.

Strategies

When the process feels overwhelming, I revisit my “why.”

I ask myself, “Why am I here? What is God doing in this season of my life?” That question recenters me. It reminds me that my calling is not accidental—it is intentional. I am here to help others discover their purpose and walk in it with clarity and strategy.

From there, I become deliberate about resetting.

I speak my daily declarations. I shift my atmosphere. I align my mindset with truth instead of allowing my emotions to lead. This is not something I do once—it is something I choose every single day.

This week, I want you to be just as intentional.

Take time to journal about the challenges that have surfaced since you made the decision to BEcome. Not just the obvious ones, but the moments that made you pause, question, or even consider quitting.

Then go deeper.

Spend time in prayer and reflection, asking yourself what those challenges may be trying to distract you from. What is in front of you right now that requires your focus? What assignment, opportunity, or growth is being threatened by your discouragement?

Let your answers guide you back to alignment.

And from that place, create declarations you can speak over your life—words that will anchor you, refocus you, and remind you of what is true.

Connections

BEcoming is not just about you.

Your growth touches every space you enter and every person connected to you—whether you realize it or not.

Think about the people who impacted your life.

There was something about them that made you believe you could do more, be more, or expect more for your life. It may have been the way they loved, the way they carried themselves, or the standard of excellence they lived by.

That impact was intentional, even if they never realized it.

And now, so is yours.

When we reflect on those who shaped us, it helps us recognize what purpose looks like in action. It reminds us that our lives carry the same kind of influence.

Your decision to keep going, to stay committed, to continue BEcoming—it creates a ripple effect that reaches further than you can see, even into your bloodline.

Words

Your life is purpose-filled.

God knew you before you arrived here. Nothing about your presence is accidental, and nothing about this season is without meaning.

So when it feels hard, and when resistance shows up, remind yourself of this truth:

You were chosen for this process.
You were equipped for this season.
And you are capable of completing what has been placed in front of you.

Speak words that align with where you are going, not just what you are feeling.

For me, that means anchoring my declarations in Scripture—standing on the promises God has already spoken, even when the journey feels uncertain.

Because if it were easy, it wouldn’t require faith.

And if it didn’t require faith, it wouldn’t transform you in the way it’s meant to.
