The Who Behind U1st

Vivian Bell (Coach V) is a board certified biblical counselor and board certified master mental health coach who created U1st from her heart—for first responders by someone who truly understands your world.

As the ex-spouse of a law enforcement officer, parent of a United States Airman, and sister, niece, and cousin of military personnel, Vivian grew up in a first responder/military family. She’s witnessed loved ones return home physically but struggle emotionally, carrying unseen wounds with no roadmap for healing.

Her extensive credentials include:

  • Certified IAFF Chaplain (within a 501c3 where she identified gaps in existing first responder support tools)

  • Addiction & Recovery Coach

  • Nationally Certified Mental Health First Aider

  • Tier One Military Support trained (Uniformed Services University & Center for Deployment Psychology)

  • ICCA Certified Advanced Life Coach (Parenting, Executive/Organizational, Marriage and Women’s Coaching)

  • Vivian founded the SIW4 publications division to create accessible support journals for everyday heroes—regardless of profession, faith, background, or creed. "This journal represents the care I want every first responder to receive from those who know you best and love you most," she says.

U1st is personal. Vivian didn’t just study first responder trauma—she lived alongside it. When existing tools fell short, she built what was needed: practical, private, stigma-free support that meets officers, firefighters, EMTs, Hospital staff and military personnel exactly where they are.
