Closing the Door

When doors are closed in our lives, it is easy to view the closing as something negative.  I challenge you today, to take a moment and find the good in every door that has been closed in your life.  Try reframing the truth of what took place (in the situation/opportunity/relationship) when the door was closed.  Remember to reflect on truths and not feelings and possibilities.

I dare to say that closed doors should be celebrated.  I believe that we should be proud of ourselves when we have the confidence to walk away from relationships and situations that are toxic, from actions that no longer serve us and when we value our time with boundaries; refusing to allow others to define us or take us for granted.

These actions are not wrong, they are necessary in order for you to fully embrace the “YOU” that God has created.

Believe in yourself and trust God for the closed doors as much as you do for the ones that HE opens.
