It’s Time to Rise Again
There is a difference between having a dream and being intentional about what you do with it.
A dream may give you a picture of what could be, but strategy helps you begin moving toward it. And sometimes, especially after a difficult season, moving forward requires more than simply hoping things will get better. It requires us to pause, seek God, look honestly at where we are, and ask, “What is my next move?”
That is where strategy matters.
Welcome to this week’s Strategies, Connections & Words, where we continue the conversation about what it means to move from simply believing into BEcoming. Because BEcoming isn't passive. It requires intention. It requires participation. And sometimes, it requires us to rise again with a different perspective than the one we had before.
STRATEGIES: There Is Strategy in the Way God Works
We often associate strategy with business plans, leadership meetings, or accomplishing a specific goal. But strategy isn't simply a business concept. It is part of how God operates.
When we look throughout Scripture, we see intentionality everywhere. God created with order and purpose. He gave Noah specific instructions for the ark. He gave Moses a pattern for the tabernacle. Nehemiah didn't simply wish for Jerusalem's walls to be rebuilt; he assessed the situation, organized people, gathered resources, assigned responsibilities, and rebuilt strategically.
God is intentional.
And if we are made in His image, shouldn't there be some evidence of that intentionality in the way we live?
Being strategic does not mean that we have everything figured out. It doesn't mean that we can predict what tomorrow will bring or control every outcome. Faith does not eliminate the need for wisdom, planning, preparation, or action.
In fact, sometimes faith looks like asking God for the strategy and then having the courage to follow it.
There may be a season when God is calling you to slow down and heal. There may be another season when He is calling you to learn, prepare, build, launch, reconnect, or finally let go. The strategy for one season may not be the strategy for another.
That is why comparison can be so distracting. You cannot build your life according to someone else's blueprint when God has given you a different assignment.
Strategy begins with discernment.
Where am I? Where is God leading me? What needs to change? What needs to be released? What needs to be developed? What is the next faithful step?
Sometimes we are asking God to show us the entire staircase when He is asking us to take the next step.
And perhaps your next step isn't as complicated as you have made it.
Perhaps it is time to have the conversation. Make the decision. Establish the boundary. Start the business. Finish the book. Seek the counsel. Take the class. Make the plan. Ask for help. Rest. Heal. Begin again.
Strategy turns intention into movement.
CONNECTIONS: Your Next Door May Be Connected to Someone Else
One of the lessons we continue to discover as we BEcome is that purpose was never meant to be lived in isolation.
There are things God will do in you privately, but there are also things He will do through relationships. Sometimes the person who encourages you during one season becomes the person who introduces you to an opportunity in another. Sometimes a conversation that seems ordinary becomes the beginning of a meaningful partnership.
And sometimes, what you thought was simply a connection turns out to be a collaboration.
This is one of the reasons I believe gathering women together matters.
When women who are dreaming, rebuilding, healing, creating, leading, serving, and becoming gather in the same room, there is no telling what can happen. You may come looking for encouragement and leave having met someone who understands your vision. You may come ready to receive and discover that you have something someone else needs.
Your next divine collaboration may not come through a formal introduction or a business networking event. It may come through a conversation with the woman sitting beside you.
That is part of the heart behind Dream Girl Dream: Rise Again.
I don't want women to simply sit in a room, listen to information, take a few pictures, and go home. I want there to be an exchange—of ideas, encouragement, wisdom, experiences, resources, and possibilities.
Come open to what God may place in front of you.
Because sometimes the connection is part of the strategy.
WORDS: You Are Worth Becoming For
We've talked before about the importance of investing in ourselves, and I want to approach that from a different perspective.
Investing in yourself isn't always about purchasing something.
Sometimes the greatest investment you can make is deciding that you are no longer willing to abandon yourself in order to keep everything and everyone else comfortable.
Sometimes the investment is your time.
Sometimes it is your attention.
Sometimes it is your healing.
Sometimes it is learning something you should have learned years ago.
Sometimes it is allowing yourself to be supported instead of always being the one doing the supporting.
And sometimes, it is simply giving yourself permission to believe that there is still more.
There is nothing selfish about becoming the woman God created you to be.
In fact, there are people, assignments, opportunities, and generations that may be connected to the woman you are becoming. Your growth doesn't only affect you.
So as you move through this week, I want you to sit with these words—not as empty affirmations, but as declarations you are willing to live into:
I am worth the investment.
I will seek God for strategy and trust Him enough to move when He gives me direction.
I will make room for relationships that support who I am becoming.
I am willing to rise again, even if I have to rise differently this time.
I will not allow what happened to me to become the definition of who I am.
There is still purpose in me, and I am willing to participate in becoming who I was created to be.
Rising Again Doesn't Mean Starting Over
Perhaps this is the part we don't talk about enough.
Rising again doesn't mean that you have to erase everything that happened before.
It doesn't mean pretending the disappointment didn't hurt, the relationship didn't break, the opportunity didn't pass, the dream didn't change, or the season wasn't difficult.
Rising again means you get to take what you have learned and decide what you will do with it.
You are not the same woman who entered that difficult season.
You know things now that you didn't know then. You have survived things you didn't know you could survive. You have discovered strengths you didn't know you possessed. Perhaps you've learned where your boundaries need to be. Perhaps you've learned the difference between being needed and being valued. Perhaps you've learned that staying busy isn't the same as being productive, and that doing everything isn't the same as walking in purpose.
That knowledge matters.
Your scars matter.
Your lessons matter.
And so does what you choose to do next.
This is why Rise Again isn't about pretending everything is perfect. It is about recognizing that your story is still being written.
There is still room for purpose.
There is still room for possibility.
There is still room for you.
And maybe it is time to stop asking whether you are allowed to begin again.
Maybe you are simply being invited to BEgin again—with more wisdom, more intention, more courage, and a deeper understanding of who you are.
Come Ready to Receive, Connect & Rise
That is the heart behind this week's Strategies, Connections & Words.
Come and receive life-changing strategies that can help you think differently about where you are and where you are going.
Come and connect with like-minded women who can support you in your BEcoming, because you never know when a conversation may become a friendship, a relationship, a resource, or even a divine collaboration.
And come ready to leave with a Word—something that doesn't simply make you feel good for a moment, but empowers you to move from BElieving into BEcoming and step more fully into your purpose.
The world has waited long enough.
There are things in you that need to be expressed, developed, shared, built, and released into the world.
You don't have to have every detail figured out.
You simply have to be willing to take the next step.
And if your next step includes making space for yourself, connecting with other women, receiving new strategies, and preparing for the season ahead, Dream Girl Dream: Rise Again may be the room you need to be in.
The Early Bird investment ends tonight at midnight.
If you've been thinking about joining us, this is your invitation to stop thinking about it and make room for yourself.
Not because you need another event.
Not because you need another thing on your calendar.
But because sometimes we need to intentionally step away from everything that demands our attention so we can hear ourselves think, reconnect with God, reconnect with purpose, and remember that there is more ahead.
You can rise again.
And this time, you don't have to rise without a strategy.
You don't have to rise alone.
And you don't have to rise without a Word.
It's time to rise.
