Fear of the Slow Down
In this month’s discussion on The REset, I want to encourage you to embrace the concept of rest. Recognize the moments when you feel the divine nudge, calling you to pause and rejuvenate. When you feel that gentle guidance urging you to lie down in green pastures, trust and obey.
The fear of slowing down is a genuine concern. It’s a fear that can easily make you doubt the very source of your strength—the divine power that has enabled you to create wealth through your business, talents, and calling. In our fast-paced world, it's easy to perceive rest as a setback, worrying about losing your place in the algorithm or momentum. However, remember that fear is not what has been given to us by God.
Allowing fear to dictate our actions and influence our decisions to follow divine guidance can strip us of our confidence and the greater plans prepared for us. Instead of fearing what you might lose during moments of stillness, consider these truths:
God loves you.
His plans are always greater.
The one who plans for you knows your needs.
Rest is not a punishment. It is a necessary preparation for the promises and blessings that lie ahead. It's the answer to the prayers you've fervently prayed.
Think of those who await your presence in the spaces you've been destined to enter—they need the healed, renewed, and REset version of you. Every season of our lives carries a purpose. Step into this season with unwavering confidence in God and His purpose for you. Rest, so you can run on and achieve success beyond your wildest dreams.
Remember, rest is not a step back; it's a leap forward into a future filled with potential and divine fulfillment.
